Campbell Adams - Obituary

It is with great sadness we report the news that our ex-colleague and friend, Campbell Adams has passed away. 

Campbell was a central figure in the development of what ParFX is today, which makes writing this obituary so incredibly hard. 

He founded the FX Pure project, a ground-breaking initiative which was the genesis to the formation of our firm and was aimed at ensuring there was a FX market venue where participants were treated with fairness and equality. Campbell recognised the inefficient trading environment that had become prevalent on existing platforms and sought to work with the market to bring renewed transparency to spot FX. 

Campbell’s relationships and network ensured FX Pure garnered the support of some of the biggest banks in world and attracted the attention of Tradition who took on the initiative and launched ParFX. 

His passion for the Pure-Principles was clear to see every day and that passion and principles continued outside of ParFX as Campbell moved towards influencing the digital asset space with his strong personality and infectious humour. 

Before the founding of ParFX, he held senior FX trading and management positions at Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and BP. He was also EMEA Product Manager for ICAP-owned EBS.  

It is incredibly sad to see the loss of such a knowledgeable and passionate veteran of our market and he will be sorely missed.
